Good morning, Blackjack Skiers. Conditions at biathlon may be OK for skiing this morning but definitely not for a grooming. The snow in the skate lane is firm enough right now and the classic tracks are still in OK shape. It was raining at 5:00 but seems to have stopped by 5:45. Grooming today will do more damage to the trails than good so I have decided to leave it for now and maybe take a look at it again this evening. BEWARE!! the parking lot at biathlon is a complete sheet of ice. Be very careful walking to the trailhead if you decide to go up for a ski. I could barely stand up. Enjoy your Saturday!

A reminder that Gibbards is classic only until we get more snow if you are skiing from the lower parking lot.
