Public closures resulting from the IBU Para Biathlon event on site this week are outlined below.

Some snowcat grooming has occurred on our natural snow trails, but the snow is soft, thin and caution is advised. Bow, Meadowview, and Banff Trail have been groomed (still too thin for tracksetting). Skiing down steeper hills is not recommended (the downhill on Meadowview toward the northwest is particularly rocky whre the trail crosses the dry creekbed). Rundle has been groomed, but some downhills are still rocky so it is not recommended for skiing. There is insufficient snow under bridges on Banff Trail, so this trail remains closed. Similarly, trails above the cross country stadium are rocky so connections back from the Meadow remain closed at this time despite preliminary grooming to create a base.

Skiing for beginners on natural snow trails is not recomended.

Please respect snowmaking equipment and stay at least 2m away from operating equipment. Never move snow guns, or cross hoses/powerlines.
